Join Aristotle and School on Wheels to Help Students Experiencing Homelessness

At Aristotle, we are committed to active participation in our communities. In the spirit of “Giving Tuesday”, Aristotle is hosting a virtual backpack drive with School on Wheels, a Los Angeles-based non-profit focused on bringing academic resources and free tutors to children experiencing homelessness. These students are living in shelters, motels, group homes, and on the streets of Southern California. In 2019, over 200,000 students K-12 lacked stable housing in California. About 160,000 of those students were in Los Angeles and the surrounding counties1. These students are disproportionately Latinx and Black. Student homelessness will likely significantly increase because of job instability and unemployment related to COVID-19.

Aristotle strives to make a meaningful difference in our communities. We are hosting this virtual backpack drive to support these children through these challenging school years of their young lives when the odds are not stacked in their favor. Aristotle has kicked-off the virtual drive with a $10,000 donation. Join us to meet our total donation of $15,000. By becoming a donor and supporting a student in this critical time, you can be part of the solution. Promote our virtual backpack drive to your friends and family members to help support these students in our communities.

Thank You!
