SUMMARY:School on Wheels Community Outreach Training
DESCRIPTION:Do you ever wish you could tell more people about School on Wheels? Well here’s your chance! If you are a current volunteer with School on Wheels we have a great training to offer. (If you are not a current volunteer you can start the process on our website today.) \nWe are constantly looking for opportunities to grow our support for students experiencing homelessness. One of the many ways we do that is by integrating ourselves into community events and outreach opportunities. At these events\, we are able to promote our program to other social service providers\, potential donors\, interested volunteers\, and families experiencing homelessness. \nWe are looking to cultivate a team of volunteers who can participate in these event opportunities and help us share the awesome\, completely free resources that School on Wheels provides! \nPlease join us on Saturday\, August 17th\, from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM for an Outreach Volunteer Training! The training will include coffee\, a light snack\, and information on the in’s and out’s of telling others about School on Wheels. We look forward to meeting with you for a fun\, interactive training that will help grow our mission of serving students experiencing homelessness.
