What is Model United Nations?
Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where its participants, known as delegates, can engage in stimulating debate regarding global issues. The United Nations (UN) is an international organization founded in 1945 and is composed of 193 member states. Their objective is to promote peace, security, and cooperation between nations and resolve present crises. In MUN, students get the opportunity to represent a country as a delegate and advocate for their country’s policy in a mock setting. Our School on Wheel’s MUN program will take place primarily virtually and there may be an in person fieldtrip for its participants.
