We encourage you to focus your time on the ABC Program (grades K-4), Academic Program (grades K-7), or BUS Program (grades 8-12) in order to effectively support your student’s needs. All of the resources below are intended to be supplementary to those programs. Enrichment Activities for Group Sites
Education.com – Includes printable worksheets, games, guided online lessons, and instructions for fun activities your students will love, from arts and crafts to English and math to science experiments and everything in-between.
Fun Brain – Funbrain’s games help students build on what they have learned in class and acquire new skills in reading, math, and problem solving.
National Geographic Kids – Here, your student can play games, watch videos, and learn interesting facts about animals and nature.
PBS Kids – Fun educational games and videos for younger students starring some of their favorite characters. Also check out PBS Learning Media for detailed activities and lesson plans covering all subjects and grades.
Scratch – Learn to code through creating animations
Wide Open School – A comprehensive, easy to navigate collection of resources on tons of topics for every grade. Great for your students’ parents during COVID-19, as well.
English Language Arts: Websites and Worksheets
K12reader.com – Printable worksheets include early reading, writing, and spelling skill activities for elementary grades, and carry through intermediate and more advanced grammar, comprehension, and writing activities for older student
Newsela – This news website allows the reader to choose from different versions of the same article based on their reading level. Articles cover current events and a variety of topics and are accompanied by activities.
Common Core-Specific Lessons
OER Commons – Open Educational Resources – This website provides a single point of access to search, browse, and evaluate over 30,000 high-quality lessons and resources.
BetterLesson – Thousands of teacher-submitted and tested lessons for K-12 aligned with Common Core standards. Registration is free.
