Janelle – Age 9

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor?
My favorite part of tutoring is learning new things. I like to learn new things. I want to meet with my tutor every day.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?
I dream to be a pediatrician. I hope to be a better reader. I dream to have a big house with my mom.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
I am curious, smart and nice.

Who inspires you and why?
I am inspired by Simone Biles because I want to be a gymnast.

What is your favorite subject? Why do you like that subject?
Math because I like to learn, but I’m also becoming a good reader!

Trinity – Age 6

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor?
Trinity likes watching all the educational videos that her tutor shows her.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?
She would like to be a police officer to help people.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Smart, goofy, helpful

Who inspires you and why?
She doesn’t know who inspires her at the moment.

What is your favorite subject? Why do you like that subject?
Her favorite subject is science.

William – Age 13

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor?
William likes how his tutor explains the subjects.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?
William wants to graduate high school and go to college.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Fun, Kind, athletic

Who inspires you and why?
His mom inspires him because she’s taught him everything he knows and has made him the person he is today.

What advice would you give to students who may be struggling with school?
His advice is to be consistent and to ask for help when needed.
