Adalya – Age 5

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor each week? I like reading books with my tutor.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future? I want to plant seeds and watch them grow.

How would you describe yourself in three words? Beautiful, pretty, I always love me.

Who inspires you? My mommy!

Ivy – Age 8

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor each week? Tic-tac-toe and reading about dogs.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future? To become a chef with a passion for minnie mouse themed baked goods

Who inspires you? My mommy, Ms. Jasmine, and Jason

Drake – Age 11

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor each week? My tutor Noah! And reinforcing basic math concepts through exploring science, pokemon cards, and mentorship.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future? To complete a book about a giant mutant spider, to learn more about science, to practice more cohesive coping mechanisms like art and technology.

Who inspires you? Noah (tutor), MatPat from Game Theory, my grandpa and/or Sunny Renkow

Thomas – Age 12

My Favorite part of meeting with my tutor is talking to my tutor about hard questions on my homework and him helping me with them.

My dream is to become a game developer after high school.

How would you describe yourself in three words? Energetic, smart and quiet.

Who inspires you? My mom.

Myunique – Age 14

What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor each week? Working on my math. I would often stop doing problems that I don’t understand, but I am more willing to attempt the problem with my tutor.

What hopes and dreams do you have for the future? Going to college and becoming a doctor. I hope to attend a hybrid high school that would offer college-level classes and jump-start my credits towards an associate’s degree. 

How would you describe yourself in three words? Resilient, thoughtful and caring.

Who inspires you? My tutor Alexa has helped my a lot over the past months.
