Record Breaking Back-to-School Extravaganza
On Saturday, July 27th, we kicked off the new school year with not one but two world record attempts. We are proud to say that our attempts were successful and we have broken the Guinness World Records for the longest line of backpacks (7,000) and the most number of backpacks filled with school supplies in one hour!
School on Wheels was thrilled to be asked to partner with Bazic Products for this attempt. Back in 2013, we created the world record for the longest line of backpacks in partnership with Pepperdine University (2,710 backpacks). Our record was beaten, and now we have officially reclaimed the title and created a new world record for the most backpacks filled with school supplies in one hour all in the same day.
All 7,000 backpacks and school supplies have been distributed to School on Wheels students for the start of the new school year. You can continue to support the mission behind this event below – ensuring that every student has what they need for the start of the new school year.
