School on Wheels Appoints Tenured Volunteer Tutor as New Board Member
LOS ANGELES– December 1, 2024 – School on Wheels, a non-profit organization dedicated to tutoring children experiencing homelessness, announces Laleh Dallalneja is joining its Executive Board of Directors.
Dallalnejad is the Business Information Security Officer at First American Financial, with over 25 years of experience in information technology, including ten years focused on cybersecurity. Previously, she served as Director of Information Security at Santander Bank and as an Information Security Program Manager at Toyota Financial Services. Since 2010, Dallalnejad has volunteered as a tutor with School on Wheels, supporting students aged 7 to 17. She joined the Board of Directors in 2024, where she continues to share her expertise and passion for education.

Dallalnejad brings diverse expertise and insight to School on Wheels. She will be joining a team of executive board members dedicated to enhancing the mission of School on Wheels. The organization has worked diligently to ensure that the Board represents a variety of experts who have the passion and dedication to advocate for their students and volunteers.

ABOUT SCHOOL ON WHEELS: School on Wheels, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 by Agnes Stevens, a retired teacher. Today, hundreds of volunteers work one-on-one with children whose homelessness prevents them from receiving the academic stability and help they desperately need. The mission of School on Wheels is to enhance educational opportunities for children who are experiencing homelessness from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The goal is to shrink the gaps in their education and provide them with the highest level of education possible. The program spans six counties in Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, and Ventura, as well as a learning center in Skid Row.
