Student of the Year – 2025

David C

I am nominating David for the Student of the Year award because of his hard work, positive attitude, and dedication to his education! He is currently in an advanced class, which shows how much he enjoys learning and challenging himself. On top of his academic efforts, David also serves as the Vice President of his class, showing leadership skills and a great sense of responsibility. His dedication to learning and improving shows in everything he does. He is always eager to grow and challenge himself, and his positive attitude, hard work, and kind heart make him a true role model. 

When his tutor, Darlene, first started working with him, David was anxious about school and knew he was falling behind. He didn’t like reading aloud or asking questions when he was confused. But through hard work and encouragement, David has transformed; he now understands that making mistakes is a natural part of learning, and he has become much more comfortable with asking questions and figuring things out. His growth over the years has been truly inspiring, and it’s a testament to his hard work, determination, and love of learning!
