What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor?
My favorite part of meeting with my tutor is getting to get better at my Math and other subjects.
What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?
I want to graduate College and be a Lawyer
How would you describe yourself in three words?
I would describe myself as respectful, responsible, and caring
What advice would you give to students who may be struggling with school?
Make sure to stay out of trouble, Make sure to study and pay attention in class so you understand the assignment
What is your favorite subject in school and why?
My favorite subject is writing because I like to write and learn about new things.
Aria – Grade 6
What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor?
She likes reading and answering questions together with her tutor.
What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?
She wants to be class president like her cousin was in high school and to become a famous singer.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Kind, funny, smart
Who inspires you and why?
Her dad inspires her because he’s a hard worker and never gives up.
What is your favorite subject?
Her favorite subject is science because it’s fun and interesting. She never gets bored because there’s always something new and different to learn.
Luz – Grade 11
What is your favorite part of meeting with your tutor?
She like talking to someone older that helps her a lot and helps her understand how to solve problems in math or in any other subject.
What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?
She would like to graduate high school and go to college to become a nurse.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Kind, funny, trustworthy
Who inspires you and why?
Her friends and family inspire her to get better grades and to work harder as a person.
What advice would you give to students who may be struggling with school?
To keep trying because at the end of the day you’re doing it for yourself, not for others.
